New Sigma 18-200 OS. Tasty treat or pile of dog crap?

Leica D-Lux 3. It looks like it's gonna be cheaper, better and prettier than the previously lusted after D-Lux 2.
Opinions on the point and shoot? I'm still in the market for a small camera.

Sigma 18-50 2.8. Mmmm, contest for the Nikon 17-55?
I am still bouncing between the 12-24 Nikkor and the 12-24 Tamron. Help!

Only real difference between the cameras was the jpg image optimization. If you're shooting RAW, it makes no difference.
I'm really enjoying having the manual control of my LX1 and since it's much smaller than my DSLR, it's always in my laptop bag which is typically with me most of the time. If you like to have manual camera control and RAW capability, it makes for a wonderful compact camera to compliment a DSLR.
to Juan who made me buy mine.
