NOTE: The photo contest is held to encourage people to take new photos with the topic in mind. As a result, please do not submit any photos taken before the contest topic was announced (see contest rules regarding EXIF data).



The prize for this month will be a VacuCam Tow Hook camera mount. Although it's still being manufactured, it will be sent to the winner when its finished. (Minus the Camera and Red Tow Hook). Better pictures coming later, but it's compatible with any small video/still camera.


If that doesn't appeal to the winner, they can opt to receive a detailing DVD.

In either case, the Tow Hook mount is there to increase your shooting options or the DVD is there to help you maximize the shine on your MINI for the next photo shoot!

I don't think LA has fall colors...hmmm....I'll have to get creative...if I can get off my butt and take some new shots :P

 

Does DarK Green and Light Green count. Cause thats about all we get here in Florida

 

The leaves haven't began to turn yet.
We do have beautiful colors here but they come in about the end of OCT.

Did you move your mouse pointer to the picture and left click it or not? If you did you would have pulled up Josh's home page. Then with the picture displayed, if you'll move your mouse pointer to the picture and left click it, allow it to expand (if your browser is set as such) and you will have a picture that is..............

My humble apologies Josh. The photo is amazing.

 

I tried following the directions to submit an entry, but there's no "Contest->Monthly Photo Contest" category in the gallery upload form.

 

If you click where it says "member gallery" then from the drop down menu you should see "October Photo Contest :: Fall Colors". That's the gallery you should use. I retitle it each month to include the month and the topic.

 

I followed the link up top for "rules and submission instructions", then "upload your image" which goes to gallery/uploadphoto.php?cat=500

From that page, the "Choose a category to upload your images to" select list contains "Member Galleries", "2007 NAM Calendar Contest", and "Travel Stories Gallery".

Using Safari on a Mac.

 

Ok, looks like we got the issue with the gallery sorted. Thanks for the assistance snid.

 

no problem. The root of the problem is really that the forum does not put a border around the image to let you know it is also a link, like other web pages do.

 

no fair.. i live in the desert, we have no trees..lol

i have brown sand.. lol

 

Hopefully, the winner will not be an obvious "fall colors" shot.

The local MINI folks like to kid me that the leaves don't turn brown, they turn Velvet Red.
