Hey, that's cool Dave!
I never would've thought of trying that.

I'm heading out to the shop this afternoon so I'll keep an eye out for goodies.

From the contest rules

Photoshop may be used for photo adjustments, but each submission must retain an appearance that it was captured on camera.
Did you have some point you wanted more clarification on?

EDIT: having reviewed the entries, I currently have 5 PM's out to people who have submitted photos regarding how their photo fits with the topic. If you got one of those PM's please PM me back.

Due to my limited photography experience, I really have no idea what a camera is capable of in the hands of a skilled photographer. I'm assuming that a picture like this would not be allowed?

For this month's contest, where the topic is "out of focus", I personally, wouldn't consider the "toy car effect"/heavy selective "blur" filtering as shown above to be "out of focus". The original image was in perfect focus, and it is now selectively "blurry".

My initial reaction anyway.

I went out this morning and shot my entry.

One of my in-focus shots.

Finally, I'm actually entered in one of these.

Me too! It's been a while...all though when I shrunk the size of my photo, all of a sudden it looked in focus! eek! Oh well, it will have to do. I swear it's out of focuse, really

My July "OOF" Entry...

Just submitted this one from last weekend's Ocean State MINI Club POYNBHTMMPITS (**** Off Your Neighbors By Having Too Many MINIs Parked In The Street) BBQ.

No 'real' animals were harmed during this photo session .

Yup that's it! - for MINI's on Top, I think nearly every Ocean State MINI Club member's car had one of these rubber chicken toppers.

Here's another creative one - on a '06 Hot Orange MCSC. You can guess what the owner's nickname is.

There's something just kind of creepy about seeing all these little things impaled on the antenna...
