I did the last few installations on the summer mods this weekend so I spent the beautiful Sunday giving the MINI a spring detail. Attached are some pics.

How do you get your engine bay so clean? Mine's really nasty looking.

blalor: I just processed that shot differently. My engine was so nasty, full salt and dirt from the harsh winter. Use a 50:50 dilution of Simple Green:Water. Hose the engine down with a light shower stream of water(stay away from the intake, rest of the engine is pretty much water proof). Spray the Simple Green Mix all over the engine bay. Grab a bucket and mix a little simple green with water and take a towel and start scrubbing everything with the mix. Re-hose with water and towel dry. Takes about 10 mins. Also if you want use a little Mother's Back to Black around all the plastic bits. Simple Green is a de-greaser so it works very well.

Red Fury: First lapping day of the season is this Thurs, it's going to be a hoot. I run 15" OZ Superleggeras on R-Compounds on-track. Good luck at the one-lap, i'll be there next year.
