What intake did you end up going with? I am thinking about the alta, but hate foam filters... Great run by the way! Thanks for posting a great video.. I feel homesick watching it. Where is this track, anyways?

Thunderhill is west of Willows, CA, off of CA 162:

The track is owned by the San Francisco Region, SCCA.

It's pretty cool that you posted a high quality video of T'Hill. It is especially interesting to me because I've never seen the course from the cockpit of an automobile. However, I have raced motorcycles there for 10 years. It seems calm from inside an auto - even that corkscrew thingy. Looks like you had fun.

What kinds of speeds did you see on the long fron straight and the back straight before making the left to charge up the hill? What kinds of speeds did you see in the infield? Do you have any lap times?

Was the event a track day?

Track Day at Thunderhill

Don't forget. The folks associated with MINIs of Mountain View are sponsoring a track day at Thunderhill on May 11.
Cheers, Gary

i am hitting a little bit over 100mph before turn 10 and turn 14 and hitting aroud 110mp before turn 1. i guess it will be qite a bit slower than a motocycle haha. my lap time is around 2:26 as you can see from the video. and this is my first time drving the mini to this track and i am a newbie at track events. as far as mod, i only have a 15% pulley + CAI

Thought about putting on a larger rear anti-roll bar?
