Hey Kurt, did we even get a chance to say hello?

Dave, can't wait to see a sampling of those several gigs.

Uh . . . Clo, you mean you recognized DiD from looking at his behind?
yay...I'm alive...I can't wait until we all start posting photos.
I know we all didn't get together to do some sort of a shoot...or at least if you guys did I didn't make it. So much stuff happened before we left town that I spent the whole weekend fighting fatigue and exhaustion but I still had a great time and think I got some cool shots. I should be able to get some of them up wednesday night. yay!

Yep, Angie was such a sweetie. She came up to me to talk to OctaneGuy. LOL. I'm just waking up from our ordeal coming back from Vegas.
I helped fix my last MINI at 1:30pm--got on the road--tried to get gas at the first stop out of Vegas---20 something miles down the road--but long lines, and 3 bars still on the gas gauge said to go to the border, where traffic ended up being pretty much at a stand still. After 2 energy drinks, gummy bears, and anything else I could find, 2 hours later, we got gas, then decided to have lunch at Primm.
4:30 we got back on the road, only to find traffic seemed even worse, but fortunately only a few miles out, we passed the first wave of slow traffic that we mistakenly thought was going to be smooth sailing all the way home..NOT.
We ended up back in LA at 9:45PM, got some Taco Bell, for dinner, and promptly hit the hay.
What a weekend though! Our breakfast fundraiser at the dealership was a success, I got first place in the Poker Rally with 3 Queens. What a change from last year where I didn't even finish the rally.
Met lots of coool people, I've only talked to on the forums. Can't wait until next year, but we got a whole bunch of events coming up in the next few months to tide me over until then....MOTD, MINIs in the Mountains.....
OOOps, I got lots of pix to post--well not lots, but a few really cool ones.

...Sorry, didn't get to meet most, if not all of you! You've heard of lurkers, I'm a fringe type.

Jim has the 300mm f/2.8. If you want to drool, drool over that.

It ALWAYS looks bigger in pictures!

Yeah, that's a nice one!
