Show us your... Night Photos!
Ok, well I thought that I should post some of mine in here too. It's been a while since I've posted anything and shot anything really new... sorry for the repeats guys.

Ok, that's it for now! I'll search through the old files for more. My MINI looks so young. This is Pre-Mods.... funny

Some older ones of mine:
Not really a night shot, more of a "just after the storm" shot.
Two years ago during the MOTD weekend, on the drive into Asheville just after the hail storm stripped the leaves off the trees on the Blue Ridge Parkway:

Now this is a night shot: At work looking through a set of NVG's

I know, I know they're not quite up to Hafid's quality

These are for Mishka, I too love Venice and Rome at night.
Some of you may have seen these a couple months ago but why not share again.
These are from last summer. The first two were both shot with a Neutral Density 4 filter to help ghost out people and get a significantly crowded image. The first is of St. Mark's Square in Venice and the second is of Castel St. Angelo in Rome. The third is from a secret little dock I found next to the post office on the less photographed side of the Rialto Bridge, I love the look of the water and the little sidewalk Ristorante on the left.
#1 Piazza San Marco in Venice

#2 Castel St. Angelo in Rome

#3 Rialto Bridge over the Grande Canal in Venice

Great pics, JBing.
Getting ready for another trip to Italy with a much better camera than last time. I hope to add to my collection of night shots. Hopefully there will be some worth posting here.

It looks to be a reflection off of some sort of metal structure.
Dead center just below the two really bright lights there is a person who could be the photographer or someone just admiring the beautiful city lights.
Although, the photographer and camera could have been cropped off the bottom of the image.
Beautiful image!

Nice shot!
It's not fair you guys have that cloud thing in Chicago now! :p
They didn't build Millenium park till after I left, and when I did finally get to visit last summer, it was covered for maintainance! :(

Wow, that night shot of Cloud Gate is beautiful! The seams are gone, now, but they make for a really neat effect in that shot! I took a bunch of pictures up there about two weeks ago on a overcast, rainy day. I didn't get too many I was happy with, but I did take several of that sculpture. Which is still partially covered; they're working on the seams on the inside.
Thanks for the comments guys. I was fortunate to be in Chicago the day Millenium Park opened. I gather that the seams are no longer on the "Bean", makes it a cooler shot now
It was taken the opening night of the park, actually also the same night I proposed to my fiance. That is me sitting at the bottom. Camera is mounted on my mini tripod with a 28 second exposure. I was fortunate that not many people walked up in front while I did the exposure. I did a little photoshop tweaking for the colors. It looks amazing at hi-res. I have some more somewhere but need to find them.
cheers

I'm no professional - i can barely point the camera in the right direction, but here goes. This is a picture I took at night

Oh wait, you meant like- photography like stuff. By the way, if you look closely at that picture you'll see it says 2:30 or so, but I cheated and that was the afternoon when we woke up

1st and 3rd are from NYC, 2nd the Parliament House in Budapest, 4th is street performers in Prague. I'm a pretty bad photographer, but I love the last shot. I smelled like gasoline for the rest of the night, though
