one of the nicest pics I have seen of a Cooper.

The car looks really good with that black S grill.

WOW Beautiful shot. Kinda looks too perfect like it's a 3D model. But it really makes me want to reach out and touch that MINI. I love it!

Ok now that I'm passed the wow phase some constructive criticism.

1.) It seems a bit soft (looking at edge of Xenon) or could be my monitor?
2.) Not crazy about the composition. To me the crop on the left is just a little too close to the MINI.
3.) And a positive one--that car is gorgeous!

I don't think that Mini could get cleaner if you tried!
Really amazing shot, I think it's perfect, you followed the rules of 3 wonderfully. I think it rivals pretty much ever shot I've seen of a Mini yet. Beautiful

Looks great. Would like to see one with the wheels. Whose wheels, and what size?

Pic is awesome. I like to turn the wheels a bit for a more aggressive stance, but that is just my preference.

Nice pic. I agree about turning the wheels just a tad more.
The negative space really helps to keep your attention on the MINI.

My guess is the sky was somewhat overcast because of the feathered shadows.

Thanks everyone...the compliments are great encouragement.

-Octangeguy, i agree about the slight softness...i saw it too. What can be done about it?

I usually do the same. It really brings out the stance of the MINI. Just didnt happen to in this picture

15x7 Konig Rewinds 205/50 Kuhmo Ecsta SPT. They are pretty much mini-lite replicas...and i tend to prefer the old school look

Here is a pic to show what the wheels look like. (car is not as clean as the other one )

Does the car have MC side skirts in the first photo? And MCS skirts in the second? I like that mod on Coopers.
Oh yeah - nice photos!

Oh yeah - nice photos!

MCS side skirts in both pics...just not enough light to highlight the bulge in the first pic. I love the mod....almost no one notices, but they can sense a differnce(my favorite kind of mod)

another one(wish the composition was centered)

Well the MCS skirts and bumper covers make a HUGE difference. This is the direction I've been moving with my MC as well. I love the look. Now where the heck did you find a building to match your car????

Nice job.

If you have any camera specs--model, settings, etc.. please share it with us!

The Camera is a Minolta DiMAGE Xt. Not many settings to mess with. I put the white balance on 'cloudy' and turned the flash off. It was set up on a little tripod. Quality was set to 'fine' and size was set to 2048x1536.

I really am debating getting a DSLR. Photography is becoming an interest of mine as i learn how to do it. So being able to set the settings of things like f-stop and the depth of field in digital format would be reall nice.

Richard--The bumper changes are one of my favorite mods...subtle but a huge change. I did it way back when 'Dandp' did it (believe he was first)....its slowly catching on because it really is a nice enhancement. I'm working on making a oem-type custom fiberglass lip, but that is hush hush for now

I really got lucky with this building. It's actually still under construction, and i just happened upon it while i was searching for a place to shoot. When they saw me though, i was escorted off the property .

Hey Rally, the main reason I like that first picture you posted is (other than your car) the fact that the ground isn't blacktop. I like the contrast of the lighter cement. It's nice. I'm seriously impressed with what you do with that little digital beast.

Great shot......I've saved it like so many others. I especially like your grille combo and how it contrasts with the red. Thumbs up, all the way!
