CCD and Sensor cleaning
CCD and Sensor cleaning
Does anyone know of any good shops/websites where I can get cleaning stuff for Camera sensors and CCD. It's for my brother.
Anything local to Los Angeles would be helpful.

Go to a camera store and get yourself a Hurricane Blower.
Samy's in Venice (just west of Lincoln) has them. It should run around $10 (AFAIR) and works like a charm. I haven't had any problems removing debris from the sensor since getting the blower.

If the stuff is really "stuck-on", I've used the Copperhill method with great success. http://www.pbase.com/copperhill/ccd_cleaning
Some of the materials are on the expensive side, but it'll clean pretty much anything that the Hurricane blower won't.
