Going to order 3-cam vacucam packs

I just scored a new condition ZR-10 camcorder on Ebay for $120 As soon as it gets here and I verify it's condition, I'm ordering a deluxe 3-cam pack to have some fun with. Does anyone have some tips for the system, that aren't covered in the FAQ and other pinned threads here? I'm going to go for some creative mount positions, possibly some extended positions for a back-and-above view, or way off to the side. I also want to try one by the bottom front skirt. Any tips for protection?

Congrats!! That's an excellent price. I just bought another Viosport LANC remote which is for my ZR-10, supposed to arrive on Thursday. Btw, I also bought 3 spare BP-511 batteries since the one that came with the camera was shot. I bought 2 for $38 from Laptopsforless.com and a third with a battery charger for $39. Thought it was a decent deal. Shipping was $7.

Note the camera kits have a lead time of 1 to 2 weeks before shipping which is needed for building/assembly. Might be faster, but right now, I'm so busy, I'm always atleast a week behind before I get to the orders.

Check out this short clip that I posted today.

I have the best of both worlds,

I have 1 vacuCam for outside mount and I have a sweet Chase Cam Camera mount that hooks on the passengers head rest posts for inside Direct Video from the camera itself.

I will switch back and forth on an upcoming road and track trip

I have one of octanes vaccams and a bullet camera, I'm going to do the same thing about mounting it to the front bumper skrit, with the bullet camera I'm using a battery pack to power the camera and a 25 foot video cable. It's held on to the skrit with a clap also I'm using tie wrap cords for safety and put the vaccam on the front window and use a switch box to flip between the both. If I get a chance I will put it together and post a picture.

I'll look into that remote.

Luckily I already have plenty of batteries - they are the same ones most of the Canon Digital SLR's use. I bought a off ebay for $9 shipped, and they last longer than my Canon brand batteries!
