AMVIV MINI photo shoot
Matt: I'm a mechanical engineer. Photography is something I enjoy immensely. It presents a nice blend of technical and creative challenges. While I don't make a living from it, I have started to do some photoshoots on the side now (click my signature for more details).
Juan: I like that photo a lot too.
Have you tried editing the back window again?

I'm still trying to decide about the blocks, whether to take them out completely or add/flip to the passenger-side.

Okay . . .
Decided to keep the car's original color intact but went ahead and fixed up the background on this MINI Cooper S's photograph I snapped atop the Palace Station parking structure in Vegas last weekend.
Here are the comparisons . . .
heavily photoshopped (previously posted)

subliminal manipulation

Now I'm wondering whether I should take out that fence seam behind the passenger side?

P.S. Thanks for posting the pics of my car. I am now using them in my sig, hope you don't mind!
I like this newest edit better. The whole image is better balanced, both in terms of the symmetry and the color. Actually, I had no idea the car was originally yellow. The body color looks great.
Regarding the seam: I would leave it. That and the little conduit fitting add some character to the wall.
I notice that you burned in the interior to get rid of the rear window, did you have problems removing the green tinge?

Looking good as usual, especially first and second last photo in the first post as well as
I feel the photo with the tower would have been better if the car didn't block parts of the tower.
Top notch, coming from a fellow photographer.

Thanks. I agree with your assessment regarding the tower shot. If I were doing that over again, I might also try to get up a little higher so that the black roof was offset against the parking structure wall some, and didn't disappear into the black sky.
