I found this clip on the MINI Mania website. It's not a MINI, but it's a great example of what hitting the inside wall can look like in the canyons. Think you're safe by staying away from the drop off edge? Think again.
Especially disturbing are the bystanders response---they are cheering and clapping.

Yeah...this clip really bugs me. Not only were the people on the scooter nearly hit head on but the crowd cheering is really pathetic. Given the cars and scooters I'm assuming this was in Europe somewhere. Regardless the message still is the same...driving aggressively on public roads is dangerous not only to those in the car but all those around you. If you want to test your skills go to the track, an autocross, but don't do it on the roads.

If you watch the clip by pausing it--just play/pause a lot, you can see when the driver side airbag deploys, and as the car is flipping--something--possibly another airbag falls out the passenger window.
