Thank you! I didn't even plan on the stormy weather (some people would call it bad weather), which is great for photography. Nor the location (that's another story).

Thanks to everyone who voted, that's what makes these contest fun.
Just so everyone knows, I had some help from Speednut, so thanks to Dave.
Also, I can't believe it's not even my car! That was a loaner from MINI North Scottsdale, thus the sticker on the windshield and side window. When I first saw the color, I thought "chick car", oh no. But it grew on me on the way home, and when I started taking pictures, I knew they were going to be decent. It's a great color for the AZ desert.
These are the pictures I threw away:

When I was getting the mounting bracket (from VIP Custom Parts in your state) he recommended the larger bracket for two Hella 500s. Seeing the bracket accommodated 4 lights, I thought "why not?" The outer 2 are 500FFs with wider spread, and they're angled out, so I get 180-degree daylight for the twisty mountain forest roads near Melbourne.

Good to know. Since we are on the subject, you have separate switches? Also, do they shake at all?

I have a separate relay per pair, of course, using the Hella wiring kit that piggy-backs onto the H4 headlight connector (and does support separate switches).
Just a little bit of shake occasionally, mostly on broken bitumen - fine on smooth roads though. Very happy on that count. I wouldn't take the setup off-road racing, but it's good for great MINI roads. And with just 2 lights, or smaller (ie lighter) lights it should be even more solid.
I also like that it uses the standard MINI mounting points.
