Yesterday was the first press day at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show, and I just wanted to share with you the official video footage of the World Premiere of the MINI Paceman.

id rather they do the intelligent thing, and make a "supersport" jcw by taking the r56, fitting the countryman awd system to it, and ditch the turbo and slap on a r900 (eaton said they wont make the r900 till it was used in the oem market, so if mini did, it would be made...)
oh, and have it doing liek 250hp factory :P
if they made that, i wouldnt care if it ony got 25mpg. id have a blast.

...but the intro had a rather attractive young woman, can't fault them for that. Didn't see much else that seemed very Mini-like.

And then put some WRC tires on it to make sure it does really well OFF the road.
Hmmm.... looking back at that, I think I'm insane. And just typing things my insanity would like to see on or in a MINI.
