Light HDR Shoot Nikon P100

enjoy, they are weird

Panoramic

I need to think out my lighting more thoroughly next time. Still learning on hdr composistion and tone mapping, trying to find the fine line between plain and "edited too much".

Nice looking Shots, Nice looking laurel, but i like the OEM driving lights better. The Hella's are just too big mounted on the upper grill.

I think the shots are great - I like HDR used subtly.

How did you mount your lights? I used the OutMotoring brackets on my Cooper but they don't fit Euro spec - I'm looking at how to mount lights on my new S.

Thanks. Hmm - looks a bit beyond my engineering capabilities and I wanted to use Hella 1000s which are bigger and heavier - but I'll think along these lines and see if I come up with something. The 2011 grill is a bit different too so I'll need to check the hole sizes.

Having spent 3 years making sure I park where people can't reverse into my bumper-mounted lights, I'd say - keep them where they are!

If it helps, the traditional Mini rally cars had the lights in front of the grill. (Mind you, their bumper was at ground level!)

the pictures look pretty good.....could you a touch more contrast over all, but they look good. one is a touch blurry, camera must have moved on the tripod.

When you hit the shutter do you have it on a 2 second delay? or do you use a remote trigger? or neither of the above?

some of them arent bad, but i suggest you get some strobes and diffusers, those shadows are nasty. also, dont park right under a light.. it brightens the top and darkens the bottom too much as well as showing any imperfections on the paint and windshield, dust included.
also, i do this sometimes too, but make sure you stay in focus
haha
angles are pretty good though. i like the pano a lot actually.
i would suggest you up the hdr effect a little and tell it to be mroe shadow based, that should take out some of your shadows, while making the car really "pop"

I THINK I SAW ONE OF THESE IN EASTBRUNSWICK NJ LAST WEEK. My head whipped around and stay focused until it was out of site. Then my eyes followed it in the rear veiw mirror till it turn off on to a side street! Those are nice looking....
