Hello and a ?
Just wanted to say Hi, I have a new to me 03 BRG got it about a month ago!
The question I have is the auto locks. It seems to be a 50% chance they will work and lock the doors. I can use the lock switch and so far have had it worked 100%. I have looked at other sites but have not found any info. Anythoughts? thanks

First, you may want to post this on mini talk insted of in your specific "milwaukee" thread.
2nd....how far are you from the car...do you hold the button or just press it?

With regards to your locks, I'm not clear as to what you are asking. Are you talking about locking from the key, the switch inside, or when the doors lock automatically at about 10 mph? Or are you referring to some 3rd party modification that will lock your doors?

Sorry what I was talking about is the 12MPH lock. The key fob locks and unlocks with out a problem and also the toggle switch inside the car. The 12MPH is the 50% chance it will work to lock them. Alittle more info when it does not work I don't hear any locks cycling I think the same with the gas cap. And by the way it is a cooper S
