Madison area event idea
I'm going to try to make it out there, really I am. It's going to be tight, though...the band has a gig out in Waterford later that evening - so I've got to vamoose immediately thereafter.

Cool. Can't wait to see it!
I've posted my pictures on my flickr account as well. No pictures from the actual drive, since I was in the "adventurous" group.

Second, on the second leg of the ride, how long was it between you adventurers' arrival at Highway 14, and the cruisers' arrival? I thought we were making pretty good time, but if you were on the same route, you must have been FLYING
Nice getting an eyeball on you, Mauberly. What a great group of people!
Ummm...ah, yeah...sorry I didn't make it - The story of my entire summer (post MOTD) - Life is what happens when you're trying to make plans. The wife, however, did get to drive MOE out to Madtown...but she went out to her brother's place in Cross Plains.
Thanks to all who joined us for the Fall drive. I had a blast leading the Adventurous group on the drive and a thrill to see so many MINIs that we filled the park. Although the colors had not reached their peak, the temperatures sure did and it was a great day for a drive. I would have liked to add on an additional segment, but realized that it could over extend our enjoyment of the area. If you would like to have a copy of the Fall Drive / route information or alternate drives in the area feel free to contact me. We have completed many beautiful and exciting drives in the western Wisconsin area. Pictures from myself will be posted at a later date. Oh, PS we were about 3-5 minutes ahead of you at the first stop and 5-10 at the end. I think when driving roads like those, it is just is not feasible to go much faster and still keep part of a group together; even if it was only 6 cars.

It was an excellent day for a drive and Jim, Laura, and Francis were wonderful leaders! Thanks for the work of putting it all together. It was great to have the people from IA and Milwaukee join us. Too bad the Chicago group couldn't make a showing this time. Hopefully next time some will be able to come drive the hilly twisties. Afterall, it is more fun than the flats of IL - although not quite as fast (Dustin)
. I hope to see all of you again soon. Until then Lets Motor!
