It WAS a great day and the rain didn't hurt it a bit. In fact, I was hesitant to go out on the track in the heavier rain but I am so glad I did......the MINI is a great car and you really get to see how great when pushing it hard on a rain soaked course. The front wheel drive really lets you slide the rear out a little and those front wheels just pull you around the corners....what a blast. I wish I could have stayed for the last time out on the track. It looked like the Novice group really got a lot out of their experience in the AM and then enjoyed the track in the afternoon. I can personally say that the intermediates enjoyed the experience.
Phil.....thank you so much for providing us with this opportunity.

I took the novice course and can honestly say that it was some of the best instruction I have ever received (auto or aircraft)! The car control exercises we did really helped me develop a better feel for the MINI and what I can do with it in an emergency situation. The afternoon on the track was really fun! I too am glad it rained a bit so that I could really concentrate on the line and on not loosing traction.

I highly recommend this course to anyone that has never taken driving instruction or been on a track. Next for me is the intermediate course, in my MINI and my Dad's 64 Mini S racecar! Counting the days...
