The St. Louis Mini Club's launch event will be March 29th, 2003! Rain or Shine!

Itinerary:
9:00AM - Meet in Central West End for Breakfast. We will meet at a member's house.
4728 Westminster Place
From US40/64: North on Kingshighway
East on McPherson for two blocks
North on Walton
West on Westminster. House is halfway down the street on the left. Park on the street.

Breakfast will be a buffet. The club will provide Einstein's bagels and our hosting member will provide coffee and orange juice. If you can, please bring something to add to the buffet!

10:30AM - Drive from CWE through Alton on the Great River Road to Grafton
11:30AM - Possible lunch in Grafton or Portage De Sioux. We can decide where to eat on the morning of the drive.
Board the Grafton ferry for a lift across the river (great photo opportunity!)
1:30pm - Events ends

Come join fellow St. Louis Mini Club members for a day of driving and talking Minis! This is the first of many St. Louis Mini Club meets. If you can't attend the entire event, feel free to join us for part of it.

Please RSVP for this event by e-mailing info@stlmini.com.

If you are not a member of the St. Louis Mini Club, join now! Visit STLMINI.COM and click on the membership tab to join. You can also join at our events.

Thanks!

BlackKnight,
You are a future MINI owner and we would love to have you at our event on the 29th! At the very least, you can show up to join the club (bring $25) and meet all the other members. You can check out all the different MINIs. We might be able to hook you up as a rider in someone's MINI as well. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions. We hope to see you there!

We cuurently have 30 members and have been growing by about 5 a week. We are working on an East meets West event with the KC MINI club,as well as other exciting events. Our club includes about 60% new MINIs and 40% classic Minis at the moment.

Cool, thanks for the info. I will definitely try to attend the drive on the 29th...as I said in another thread, I'm from the Alton area (Godfrey these days) so the River Road drive will be right through my neck of the woods. Would be fun to tag along and watch the automotive fireworks. I'm going to try to bring my wife along (she's not quite as excited about the new addition as I am), so we'd probably just tail the procession in my Neon till you all head for the ferry. Thanks for the hospitality!
