Run Flat Tire Replacement Warranty
Just purchased a new 2014 MINI Countryman S. The finance department is trying to sell me a $1,250 replacement policy for tires which are punctured, etc., or when a rim gets bent. I figure I would need to damage four tires to break even on this policy. Do anyone think this insurance is worth it?

Yep, gotta rotate.
Wheel and tire insurance from dealers is heavily marked up and are huge profit makers for dealers. I have had good luck with my wheels, etc and always turn down the dealer insurance.
You will know if you normally curb your rims, or if the roads are crap where you live. If you tend to find every pothole or nail in the road, then you might want to consider one.

It always depends on where you live and the roads.
Last winter was horrible in the north east. I live in ny. I always get tire and wheel and it always pays off for me and I am uber careful
It was so bad here last year that there would be 50 cars lined up on the shoulder changing flats as a new pot hole that was unavoidable popped up on a main highway. And this happened over and over.
Punctures are punctures. A nail knows no zip code. For instance on my last car I had 2 punctures and 1 bubble All replaced
There is a lot of mark up on the tire and wheel and in MINIS case make sure they are selling you the SAFEGUARD MINI branded policy. Not some aftermarket one
