If you get in early, before 5pm, Maybe Patrick MINI would wash it for you.
Oh, we'll most likely be there by Tuesday night. It's whether reuniting with the in-laws will allow enough time. Your suggestion however could be a good excuse to escape early.
We're staying in Alsip, just south of the city, so it'll probably take a good 45 minutes, with traffic, to get to Schaumburg. (I better get my coins together for the tolls eh. )

P/S: How much are the tolls nowadays anyway? (45cents?)

depends on where you are here is a link you will end up paying more (and taking longer) since you dont have an IPASS. Also may want to plan for construction on I294 as well as I88 in the I355 area.

Looks like it's only 2 or 3 tolls if you get on 294 at Cicero, head north to 290/53, then head west and get off at Higgins. Not sure what 294/290 looks like at that time... w/o an IPASS, the toll is double... bring lots of change...

Thanks for the link.
We Southern Californians are kind of used to freeway (or should I say expressway) delays.
Perhaps I'll pay with pennies just to **** 'em off!
you could do that... you just might want to throw in a couple extra in case it doesn't count it right.. the first time I used to do that when I rode the CTA in HS and college before they got the good fare counters
