Why is it not surprising that an Aussie can't quite grasp the concept of 'quit drinking'?

They make good Australian rum?

Rehab is for quitters!
When I quit drinking beer, I had to start on the rum. When I quit rum, I started Jack Daniels (the official whiskey of the Sin City MINI Club). If I run out of Jack, I unquit drinking beer.
I'm not an alcoholic, alcoholics go to meetings.

And I thought the 'S Faced' comment was a clever double entendre referencing the smile acquired by driving an MCS - are you being funny without knowing it again?
Yea I guess it happens sometimes.
I don't get drunk. Not possible on American beer (except maybe that 25% stuff that Sam Adams is making these days). And Jack is only 40% these days. That almost counts as low alcohol at home. Might as well be drinking Malibu!
Aussie rum is the best in the world. It's so good, we drink it all ourselves and leave none for export. If you ask nicely, I MIGHT let you try some Bundaberg Rum (official slogan "The Famous Aussie Spirit") from my flask.
In colonial times, rum was actually used as currency in Australia.

I think so! I like to drink, but I found myself being ridiculously hungover after just small amounts the past 2 years, and now I get migraines too often to make it worth the risk. I will still have fun at AMVIV.
Afterall, I have fun on NAM and I'm not drunk.
Mostly.
Sandy, the rum might cost you a hug. Scooby...I'm still looking for a good deal on that brake upgrade we chatted about.
BGWC, I could never see the point in hangovers, so I don't have them.
