Yancey and I took a drive down from San Francisco to Cayucos last weekend on Highway 1. Yancey got to drive the good twisties through Big Sur and had a blast.

This drive is AWESOME and should probably be considered as a group run in the future.

Fresno to Monterey
Hwy 1 from Monterey to Cayucos
46/41 back to Fresno

about 9-10 hours round-trip with a couple of stops...........

I also have a suggestion for a future run...How about motoring to Jalama Beach for an AWESOME Jalama Burger?? We could take 41/46 to HWY 1 to Jalama Rd.... http://www.jalamabeach.com/

Or maybe motor out to Pozo, where we got 'turned around' end ended up during our Morro Bay run...remember?? I'd like to do a dry run out there and see if there are any good restaurants/watering holes nearby.
