This is my boycott the holliday run.

Start time 7am, Starbuck's Shaw @ 41 in Fresno. Take 41 to 46 to 101 south to Atascadero. Stop at Starbuck's, need more coffee. There is a rest stop in Shandon also. Then take 41 to Morro Bay. Then 1 to Cambria, drive through, not much open last year. Back on 1 to Big Sur, plenty of picture spots on the way. Stop at the Neptune Bar in Big Sur for lunch and Bloody Mary's.Continue up 1 all the way to Half Moon Bay. Pass through Carmel, Monterey, Watsonville, Capitola, and Santa Cruz. Stop somewhere for fuel. From Half Moon Bay head east on 92, to 280, to 85, to 101, stopping in Gilroy to eat, may half to change that part. Then take 152 to 99 and back to Fresno. Last year it was 552 miles.
If anyone is CRAZY enough to join me, let me know. Or if you want to meet up along the way, that also works. The drinks and the veiw in Big Sur is worth it, not counting all the twisties.
Last year, I left at 7am, and was home at 6pm.
If I don't see you have a Great Thanksgiving, I know I will.

Wish I could join you on this one Brad, since I don't have family in the area to celebrate with. But, it's a normal workday for me and too tough to get a holiday off.

Wish I could join you. I use to live in San Luis Obispo and I would like to cruise that area with my mini. But have other plans.
