Run For MAY????

Hey All,
I am looking for a run or event for May. We had originally planed on doing Brads Excellent off road adventure. Again we need to bump this run, It just does not fit in to the schedule. I was thinking of doing another bowling night. I would like to do something either 5/22 or 5/29. But keep in mind that I might not be here on 5/22. If you have any suggestions please let me know.

We are still planning on Morro Bay in June and James Town in July.

Tina
Thanks for any and all help!

WOW, it looks like there is no takers on wanting to do anything club related for May. There has been 90 something views and only one response. People please remember I need your feedback to be able to make this club run! If there is no feedback then there is no club. If you would like to do bowling great let me know or if you have another suggestion great. If there are no responses by next Friday I will cancel the event for May! Sorry to be harsh but this is the way it has got to be!

Unless you would like to lead. Steve can not take a Saturday off, due to being the busiest day of the week. If you or any one else would like to lead then we could still have it on the same day or change days!

"what about a run to Yosemite? or maybe to Carmel? I'm sure we could find some twisties to run on."

I wouldn't want to do two cost runs back to back. We usually do the Lee Vinning run at the end of the season. But if we could get enough people interested in a Yosemite Valley run I wouldn't put up a fight (I personally stay as far away from Yosemite as possible on the weekends).

I think he means the enthusiast response is just so overwhelming that he can hardly believe it. I guess we have a club of about 10 people. I think we should just concentrate on the Jamestown run since it is one of the favorites and I will take a Saturday off for that run. Bowling is fine with me since it gets me out of the shop for a little while but doesn't interfere with making enough money to pay the bills. Just my input...

No toes stepped on, there is just some planning involved for a run. You are perfectly welcome to pick an open slot in the schedule and take charge. Just make sure to check the schedule with Tina so we don't overlap.

Tina,
don't take a lack of response as non-interest, eager to see what is going on in the club and wanting to participate. Both Katie and I work at jobs that run 24/7/365 and I work every other weekend, so I try not to clog the works by saying "can't go, have to work" since I would be writing this a lot. So I save my typing skills to let you know when we can go.
So ignore the silence and let the ideas spill out and let people know what you are working on, we like hearing them.

Neil

Hey all,
Well I came up with this. Tom and I will be going over to Laguna Seca, Le Mans Series on Saturday, 5/22. The tickets are 40.00 for a day pass. I am not sure if that includes parking. We have camping passes for the weekend. If anyone is interested in carpooling over there let me know!!!

As for the Bowling I am putting out feelers for the 29th. It is Memorial Day weekend keep in mind! I will make reservations as of May 19th if we get a positive response!

When: Saturday May 29th.
Time: 7:00 PM (this way we could go out for dinner before, may be Pizza)
Where:
Rodeo Lanes, Clovis
140 Shaw Ave.
Clovis, CA 93612
Directions: Travel east on Shaw until you come to Minnewawa Ave. Located in shopping center on southeast corner.

The cost per person per game is $5.00 and shoe rentals is $4.25.

Okay all now all that is left is for those of you interested to let me know!

Thanks
Tina

Bowling works great for us on the 29th (as we will not be back in the US until very late on 5/22). Tina, please don't chastise us for not replying until now, as it wasn't until yesterday we got hooked up to the internet here in the provinces of the Philippines (although it is a cell phone hookup and slow).

Like a prior post,
I am unable to make most events on Friday nights, and Saturdays due to my work schedule. Have you all ever considered doing runs on Sunday? I know its the day of rest, and I'm hoping Steve atleast takes Sundays off. Just my two cents.......

Hey all as of today we have 6 people signed up for bowling. Please let me know if you would like to join.

As for runs on Sunday, that just depends on the amount of people that would request them. I so far only have two or three people that are willing to do runs on Sunday or any other day besides Saturday. I work Monday through Friday so I can't do runs those days but I would be will to organize if people wanted it to be!
