Ad Agency Run was great! I got to see a lot of people I met at AMVIV again and a lot of new people. There must have been about 50 cars including about 10 classics. The tour of the Marin backroads and Mt. Tamalpais was nice and twisty, and even though we didn't go all out, there were still places to push it a little. My luck at MINI raffles is still holding; I won a blue Cooper S cap, MINI valve stem covers and a CravenSpeed shirt. It was interesting that Craven donated several prizes including a crank pulley and a bunch of stubby antennas. We got to see what the Agency is doing for ads and promotions for the next year and to see their facility. It was a very good day.

We didn't even get to the brewery until after 6pm, and at that point I decided it was going to be to late.
Didn't leave B-town until after 2am. Long day but fun.

Glad to see your still winning

That's one of the things I was afraid of so I'm glad I didn't tempt myself by doing Bakersfield and then not making Ad Agency. Glad you had fun and got to try out your mods. I hope they all worked perfectly and you are happy.

How did you like the 105 MPH run through Bakersfield?
Anytime. If you or any other team member ever needs a ride, don't hesitate to ask, or even call. I can see someone could get a bit tired and stuff after a run.

I am amazed of the performance and ride of the car after all the work. Job well done guys.
And to let everybody know, it wasn't me that went 105. In fact, I dont know who that was

Sounds like you had a good AD run as well, Steve. If you have that kind of luck, perhaps you should buy a lottery ticket someday.

Great Runs

Steve, I'm glad to see that you had a great time.
So did we. I wish I could have done both.
Did you get any pictures?

As you know by now we had a blast.
34 cars. I think that was the same number as last year.
It was great meeting all of the SoCal members.
The run was a lot longer that I anticipated.

Kevin survived Blake's driving! HA!
Oh by the way Blake complimented me on my driving but said I still need to go faster!

Chef Steve didn't mention our near miss.
On the last leg Steve was following a gal in a new Yellow convertible.
She was driving very cautiously. We drove up on a hairpin that went straight up after the turn. She missed a shift and practically came to a stop.

Steve just missed her, I just missed Steve and Michelle just missed me!
We all took a few deep breaths and took off again.
Other that that It was uneventful.

I'm doing this one next year for sure.

Scooby, don't forget that after the brewery we went back to the British Pub.
Remember the girl who was bartending in the red shirt?

3-1/2 inch. It also talks to you, and plays MP3 files, and audio books.
