Some variation of that is what I'm thinking. Trying to do a carerra RS style one would be way too difficult because there isn;t enough contrast.

Thanks smart ***. The problem is that the inside latch on the driver size door doesn't catch or work anymore. So I took the door apart lastnight and took the lock out and rebuilt it and still nothing. Guess I'll have to go to the dealer.

So you're saying the door handle doesn't work?
Usually there's just a long arm that goes across the door and actuates the latch. I've had it break/disconnect in other cars before. Just had my door apart, but didn't look at the mechanism.
Now if it was on the passenger side, you could just pretend that you're chivalrous, but the driver's side is a PIA.
