It was great seeing all you guys tonight. I'm **really** sorry for not having enough space available. It totally blew to have Kurt, JIMINNImachine & Janet bail because there wasn't enough space. I'll totally make it up to you guys with the next place I/we book for the November meeting. Details to follow!!
Still though, sitting cramped together provided for lots of fun conversations & it was awesome to have such a big turn-out. At the rate we're going, we'll have a large "Mini Massive Club in MidCal".

Accessorize your feet to match your MINI
Thank's all for a another great MidCal evening. Several asked about my shoes that were customized to "compliment" my car. They are Nikeid's and I have posted the link that takes you to the Nike website. While Malt Brown English Leather is not a color available on the Nike website, the color combination I selected blends pretty well with my MINI. The ID on my shoes is my license plate. Just in case I become separated from my car and cannot recall who I am, the authorities can match me up with my car, ha! There are 180 different styles to choose from and even more color combinations. (Almost as bad as the MINIUSA website. You could design shoes for hours!)
Anyway, it was fun to see everyone again and a special welcome to the new attendees. You have chosen to join a great group. This was only our (Bitzie and Me) second meeting and we have truly enjoyed both get-togethers. Happy Motoring until the next time.

To keep everyone in-the-loop, we're planning the following group events:
1. Early morning romp through the hills, eg. Wonder Valley, etc. In November (Saturday morning, 7am-10:30am) * watch your e-mail for details on: date & meeting place. I'm/we're planning an early morning run so there's minimal traffic & everyone has the majority of their day to spend with their family & friends. ChrisW (the Google Earth guru) is going to help plot a course map via satellite. This will be a great time & will give you an opportunity chance to stretch your Cooper's legs through some twisties.
2. Mini Bowling - Rodeo Lanes. Date: TBD. Can someone say "pomegranate martini"? <lol>
3. Christmas Tree Lane - Club Drive with dinner afterwards
Fun maintenance tid-bits:
1. Tailpipe tip modification has been a popular thing to do, due to tips protruding out from bumper at below knee level.
2. Run-flat light sensor. It's possible that your run-flat light can be triggered by environmental conditions & have nothing to do with tire damage (caution: still monitor/check tire pressure(s) at all times). Hold down the run-flat reset button for at least 5 seconds & light will disappear from dash.
Did you think that an electric Mini Cooper was possible? Well, a limited edition fleet of 500 of these cool cars have officially hit US soil: Electric MINImachine.
Fun meeting moment some of you missed: the infamous Fracky2 plate has arrived courtesy of DMV & is now on the back of the SUV. Sweet!
Have a great weekend with your friends & family!! ~Joe aka Fracky
Note: I'm so getting some customized Nike's!!!
