Alright gang, we're all setup & I've ensured all pertient parties are ready-to-rock first thing tomorrow morning. Emil should be there at 8am or before. I'll be there 7:30-7:40am'ish. If y'all wanna be there early too that'd be cool. I don't know about you guys but I'm jazzed for tomorrow.

Other than what FP is providing? I'd say you need to bring your own drinks & snacks. Yep, we're going to the meeting tonight.
What a great day, even if it was LONG...
Here a a few that I took.

Stationary Fun Run
Great pics Willum.
Thanks to all the guys who set this tune session up. Joe for getting it going and following up with the great assistence of his side kick Jim. Steve for lending all his expertise from morning to late night. Emil for putting in a rather long and grueling work day at the dyno. And all you Mini Crazies who made it a great day. I'd say lets do it again but two tunes is enough for me.

Nice pics Willum!
I was excited & got to Fresno Performance wayyyy too early (7am) & we didn't get outta there until midnight, so I agree it was a *long* day. Had a great time with all of you & I hope everyone got exactly what they were looking for from their custom ECU tune. How's everyone's car's running? All I can say about the Frackmobile is it hasn't run this good in who knows how long. It feels like a beast on the road.
Special thanks to Dr.Steve for lending your technical expertise & providing the misting setup (margaritas & dinner are on us next time), Emil for setting a personal best - 8 fully-custom tunes in one day, Jim for providing the entertainment & Erick for giving us free rein in his facility and providing the 3 cases of water which we ripped through.

Numbers are just that, numbers. Why post numbers when all they do is cause problems and a bunch of these
,and these
. Lets just say that all 8 guy's that had their cars tuned, ALL left with big
's. But if anyone whats to post numbers, by all means do it.

Wow what a day....and night
. Thanks to everyone for the results of the day. Joe for setting it all up. Emil for his awesome tuning and tireless performance, he left L.A. around 4am. and finished the last tune past 11:30 pm. To the shop owner Erick for his expertise on running the dyno. To Dr. Steve for his help all day and night. To all the guy's who brought their cars for tunes, Fracky, Jiminni, CAP49, Willum, Ken, Chet, Herschel and Steve. Everybody left VERY happy with the results
Also thanks to visitors during the day, Nick and Shelly and Chris. I had a great time hanging out with everyone, even tho I got kind of tired around 9pm, but it all became worth it once my car got on the dyno. My third run was sweet
........right Joe
Any way I'll try and post some pics tomorrow.

I knew it was going to come up! Yes, in the end my RMW cam didn't count for extra hp or torque as Jim beat me by 1hp. Aside from my DFIC & cam, we have the same approximate setup (different manufacturers for some parts), but Jim's ambient temp was 9-10degrees cooler than when I was running......so when do you want a re-match.
If any of the 03's were to put down bigger numbers I was glad it was my man Jim. Last edited by Fracky; Aug 17, 2008 at 11:37 PM.

I know most of us already know this, but Emil sent me an e-mail saying that we should all run an engine deposit cleaner additive through our tanks every oil change to keep the piston tops & valves as clean as possible. This should also help reduce timing retardation. Here's a good product: http://www.chevron.com/products/ourf...tives/tcp.aspx.
After: car fast.
But your MINI is as slow as ever because it rarely moves from it's spot in my shop.
Steve
Took out about 1/2 the life of my new BP-20's and the boot was covered in brake dust, but they held up very well.....no fade at all. With the resurfacing of the track they changed turn 15 a wee bit and made the exit on to the front straight much quicker. GPS had my max at 108mph.
and the average for the session at 75mph.
