Good morning all:
I just got an e-mail from Emil saying that either August 9th or 16th will work for his schedule. I'm going to be calling Fresno Performance later today to check their schedule for these dates. Can the respective people chime in on their day of choice?

Updated list:
1. Joe/Fracky * August 16th
2. Jim/JIMINNI * August 16th
3. Cliff/CAP49 * August 16th
4. Ken * August 16th
5. ChrisW * August 16th
6. Dr.Steve/SRTech ** Present, but not going to dyno.
7. Willum * August 16th

Alrighty everyone. I just got off the phone with Eric at Fresno Performance & I've booked the facility for Saturday (August 16th) all-day. They're giving us 10 hours of dyno time for $800.00 & getting lunch for everyone. By the hour it's $125, but considering the number of cars (Ken: I commited you, so you're in ) this should be right on target. Plus, the staff will be taking care of the dyno strapping since this is a safetly issue due to the elevated Dynojet.

I've also confirmed Emil so everyone's lined up.

Fresno Performance
Address: 2502 East Belgravia Avenue * Fresno, CA 93706
Phone: 559.233.0102

Please bring cash & a complete list of the modification(s) to your car.

So Joe, is this everyone that wants either a tune or just some dyno runs? If we can get a couple more people that just want to dyno this could help out our per price for the dyno time

Well, Dr.Steve said he'll be there but won't be doing any dyno time. I'd say if people would like to come hang out & get some dyno time without tuning, they'd be more than welcome. It's going to be great times & if you haven't dyno'd before it's a blast. When Jim, Cliff, Randy (M7) & I were at LAPD, I had tons of fun just hanging out. For those who're interested, can you post in this thread so I can keep track of everyone?

I might like to get mine tuned, but again what can he do for the auto (raise the RPMs)? I was going to get mine retuned anyway. Just looking for a little more.

I think you can tell Emil about your mods when you get there and he'll take them into consideration when he tunes. Just like all other tunes you've read about in these forums make sure your car is up to the rigors of a dyno-tune i.e. good belts , wires , plugs , air filters. Dr. Steve will be hangin so if there are any problems he is available for first aid.

Checkers, right after I got saw your post I e-mailed Emil your question, along with your build list. When he e-mails back, I'll post for you. Ken has an automatic & Emil said even with minimal mods, we should acheive some good gains & clean up alot of his a/f clutter.

I'm out on the tune, but I still might show up and see how everybody does. I can hang with Dr. Steve.

Uhhh...you got lucky! Emil's mastered the automatic tune, so even with minimal mods you're gonna be a happy camper. It's going to be a great day for us to all hang out.

So Joe, have you rustled up anybody else just wanting a dyno? Also, I really think we need to have a dedicated fan just for the intercooler. I can get a very powerful floor fan from work, we just need a way to get it up to the intercooler.

So far, we just have the people I've posted about. Does anyone else MidCal'ers or whomever want in on this action?

Good idea Just need a transition from the round duct to the oval floor fan Also a way to hook it to the different kinds of I/C's.

I'm out I only have enough money for this or a track day and the track day is more important to me. So take me off the list.

Uh oh dude, this isn't good since Emil's trip to Fresno is predicated on new tunes & not just checkup. This will now be only two new tunes. Are you sure you can't re-think this because I'll need to get back in-touch with Emil to see if he's still willing to make the drive.

Alright gang, Chris has decided to attend track day instead of the tune...so I/we need to find a replacement. I'm going to troll some of the other club threads but if y'all know anybody who would be interested can you let me know?

New list:
1. Joe/Fracky * August 16th
2. Jim/JIMINNI * August 16th -- Checkup
3. Cliff/CAP49 * August 16th -- Checkup
4. Ken * August 16th
5. Willum * August 16th
