I've been on drives before with a 'non-mini'. They do tend to have the non-mini caboose/bring-up-the-rear, but it's generally accepted that certain situations prevent some from the joys of motoring in a mini. Kinda depends on the group and the outing and your personality. just my 2 cents.

It also depends on what you are driving and your general attitude. If you show up in a Hummer and act like a jerk we might not be as friendly as if you drove a Ferrari and bought us breakfast

These comments are a joke and are not meant to offend people who drive Hummers who could run me over, you guys are all great keep up the good work.

Hahah. I've never been on a MINI outing, but I've had plenty of sportbike rides where we were joined by cruisers, goldwings and 400CC highway scooters, and no one got upset! I'd agree it's all about your personality. If you're a nice guy/gal I don't see why anyone would be offended.

Thank goodness I drive the Volvo to work, even Hummers fear the Scandinavian box car.

You should trade that box in on one of those swoopy 122S Volvo's. Vintage rally car FTW!

FWIW I think it is going to be much harder to keep these modern cars running when they become old crocks. I do not look forward to rebuilding the ecu. Bet there is a whole lot of smoke in them things just waiting to come out.

But soon we will be able to drive other people's cars on the interstate:

Sorry everybody but I think Chuck and I could go back and forth all day, who knows where we might end up.

Heck man, I don't even want to drive my own car on an interstate, let alone someone else's transport appliance.

You can build one of those for $1500, but hey I could buy a lot of donuts & gasoline for that kind of money.

Wait a minute! I thought that if you didn't come with a MINI you had to come with a Subaru. Isn't that in our club constitution????

Either a Scooby or a Miata. A Caterham will do in a pinch.
