While cleaning the Mini earlier today I noticed several paint bubbles on my rear hatch that I am sure will quickly develop into rust spots. I was wondering if this is a common problem with Mini’s?

 

Wow Mike, I can't believe that your car has rust. I found a couple of small rust spots on the boot yesterday. Turns out clay bar took them off & it wasn't a rusty boot. From what I understand what you have is not common. Pull the plastic inner cover & see what the inside of the boot lid looks like.
