Due to the rockslide and the severity of fixing it so someone doesn't get bashed while passing by, the TN authorities have blocked off the Dragon at the state line with NC until it is fixed. Some say a 14 week timeline has been imposed, but others say it may be ready by MOTD. That said, if any of you are planning to go to MOTD, check the threads....

There is a great video of some moron flying down past the "parking lot" in a ricer and right into the slide that completely blocks both sides of US 129. He landed about 15-20 feet onto the rocks and claimed he didn't see it...hahahhaa.

You're welcome about the Cabelas info...I got a couple of their windbreaker rain jackets...one in cobalt and the other in burnt orange, along with a great orange windshirt for when I go to the track. Ya just can't beat their clearance pricing.... Orange outerware is such a hard find, so I immediately thought of you once I saw how nice these items are.

 

It is only hard to find if you skip hunting stores.

 

The nice thing about Cabelas though, is that they sell casual clothing, too, and that's what drew me to buy what I bought. The hunting blaze oranges are just a tad too much, IMHO. If I bought that, next thing, the Palin crowd would be down here shooting up the place!
