Hey Jan, the next drive is right in your neck of the woods.

That would be nice. I am currently in Schenectady NY visiting and 1/2 way here my '98 Expedition started leaking fluid from the rear end- the transfer case and a differential?? broke, so I am coming home tomorrow with a rental and the Ford is staying here until it is fixed. Ben will bring it home next week. I thought about doing the Cash for Clunkers instead of putting 1000 dollars into repairs but I don't have my title for it with me.

So, where is the drive?

The garden spots are Tunnel Hill, Warsaw, Walhonding & Roscoe Village. Not in that order.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. $1000 is certainly cheaper than the cost of a new vehicle.

Is 541 S thru Kimbolton & Plainfield in this route? there are great curves, 1 my family calls "Dead Man's Curve" and this road goes to Salt Fork State Park.

Not going that far east this time. That road east of Coshocton looks like a fun one. The switchback just past Birds Run looks wicked.

Birds Run is just as curvy and hilly, there is a covered bridge but if you are going fast you miss it.

I think Babs & I will have to take a drive over 541 to Salt fork for lunch in the lodge sometime. The road looks great on the map. Certainly not a boring drive.

I had East and South mixed up on 541, dead man's curve is on 541 East.
