Anyone up for a drive to the 'burgh for a really fun Driver's Education event? We named it something silly - "Gyminikhana!" - but it's really high performance driver's education - with lots of seat time for only $65 (or less!) for the DAY. Yeah. Sixty-five bucks.
You get precision driving instruction - and games, pro-level instruction and lots of seat time on both Autocross and "coneless autocross" (think "driving laps on the Wilson go-kart circuit"!). You ALSO qualify for a generous discount on a Flat Out Day at BeaveRun - as if Gymini wasn't exciting enough.
Oh - and don't forget, Mini of Pittsburgh will ALSO run their Motor-Tober event the same day. AND we have a MiniDoMore trailer hitch to give away from Brent at MiniDoMore! What a great sponsor.
You can even camp out on Friday night - or stay at a local hotel. Phew!

Just a reminder - this event is coming up soon. We've got a couple dozen cars already registered, including a family from Dayton coming along...
It's really a good time, pretty low-key but with good levels of instruction and lots of seat time. While stopwatches will be present, it's your choice whether they're operating on your run... or whether you pay attention to them!

OK, in case you need lodging: The Holiday Inn (full featured, including pool, restaurant, and lounge) right there in Beaver Falls, PA (exit 13 off the turnpike, and about 8 minutes from the track) offers discount rates for BeaveRun events: $104 compared to $139 regularly - and as of today they've got rooms for Friday and Saturday. (724)846-3700. I do NOT know if their lounge features genuine velour.
Other accommodations are available in Cranberry Township, PA (about 20 minutes from BeaveRun), including:

Hyatt Place 724-779-7900
