Roof Rack

My current commuter has a factory roof rack and I am using a Rocky Mounts bike tray for hauling mountain bikes to state parks around Ohio. I am hoping to do the same with my Cooper when it finally comes in. Does anybody have any advice or experience with a roof rack for hauling bicycles on a Mini? Thule, Yakima, is one better over the other? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I liked the mont blanc, was cheaper than the others and had a better quality reputation. I think all thule accessories fit it as well.

be sure to put down some avery vinyl on your roof before you install any rack though to prevent scratches, paint rubs.

didn't notice you had an 09 on order. you might just want to get the factory racks instead of any after market ones. the biggest cost of the factory racks is installation, if you get it done with initial purchase, it doesn't cost extra.
