Nice impromptu fix Mark. Suppose your spark plug threads were stripped, your Mini makes so much power that you don't even need 4 cylinders !

And Rob don't forget...

Ironically, tonight is the one year anniversary of the ambulance story .

Rob, it might be a good idea to also bring one of these....

Wait, what?

Hmm... I must have missed said ambulance story...

But great tips as usual Cooper... although that nice shinny Val 1 is pretty pricey!

PLan on checking the mini over today during its 'bath'. As far as tire air goes... would the same PSI be needed from my stock tires (15 in) as in the new Kumho ASX's in 195/60R15? Slightly different sized tire...any ideas?

I usually run 35 psi in mine. I have 205-50-16 on the MCS and 195-50-16 on the Cooper, so I don't think you'd have any problems with 35 psi.

I'm hoping Crashton reads this and remembers to bring postcard to the next breakfast, he got sent one from Florida of Marty and his new class...I mean chimp-mates. We might drive down for the Sept. breakfast, when is it again? (JK)

It's in September silly. Now to hunt down a postcard that is here someplace.

Maybe we could do a treasure hunt. Find the postcard win a banana.

Got back from Maine this past Saturday... just in time for the strangest windstorm I've ever experienced!

I think i have a few good pics that I'll post once I get power back to the house... it's been off since 2:30 sunday afternoon...

No issues during the 2,500 mi trip, except one DIRTY cooper! Man, all those particulates our coal power-stacks dump into the air result in some dirty rain!

Anyways, thanks for all the advice prior to the trip and I hope to share a few pictures on my Flickr page once I can upload them. Stay tuned

I'm happy to see you got back OK, but sad that ya don't have power yet. Even so, it's supposed to be a great early Fall week, but even so, here's hoping everything is restored soon!

Up here on the north coast some of my co-workers are still without power. Day 3 for them. They were told they "might" have it by the weekend. All the extra Ohio workers were sent to help out Texas now Ohio is short handed. They are trying to restore power to a greater number of outages first then the rest. It is remarkable they we did not loose power since just the slightest wind knocks it out.

Power's back on as of 11:30pm tonight...erm, last night ( ). I'm very grateful... just hope those without water and such b/c of the outage have got their elec back... or do REAL soon.

Time to begin digging thru the photos I took to find the 'good ones'. Hope to show some off soon...

For those interested, pics of the trip are now on my flickr page. Not many in the mini dept, but lots of the Maine scenery.

On the mini side of things, we did spot a grand total of 45(!) minis, including one classic!

Anyway my flickr page can be found at http://www.flickr.com/rcmini
