Speaking of BRM, I read in the paper this weekend that we will soon have our own "The Pub" in the new outdoor section of the Polaris Mall. It didn't say when it was going to open, but I'm thinking there might need to be a MOMC event for the Grand Opening!

Thanks for the heads up Brian. Let me know when it's open, we'll do lunch.

Not much interest eh?

Looks like we have 5 MINI owners interested in going. Any more ideas on a date?

Well since there is so little interest I think that maybe we should cancel. I don't mind laying a course out, but for so few people it hardly makes any sense considering how much it will cost to lay out the routes.

Any feedback?

Sounds like a plan. Are random orbits the same as going around in circles?

Bumping to see if anything was ever decided on this, more interest was ever expressed, etc.

I've given up because only a very few showed any interest. With fuel prices what they are I'm wondering if folks just don't want to spend the bucks that going on a drive takes. I know I sure don't want to spend several tankfuls of money to lay out a drive that no one is interested in taking.

If anyone wants do do one let me know & we'll do it.

After I left your place Sat., I drove up SR 3 on my way to visit my sister. There was almost NO Fall color as I skirted around the Mohican State Park/forest, so I'd imagine the leaves won't be changing for at least another 7-10 days.

Insofar as people not wanting to pay for gas for a Fall Color Drive, since the gas prices have dropped a lot recently, it makes no sense to me NOT to see Ohio's finest hours of Fall color, plus we even have some pretty good twisties. Ok, so it may take a Saturday and a tank of gas...big deal. That sure whips the pants off heading to the Dragon and fighting the weekenders, plus spending some REALLY BIG $$ for food, lodging AND gas [IF you can find the latter]! ANYWHERE].

If any of you guys are interested the BRMs are having a Fall Rally aka Rally in the Valley - (through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park) on Saturday 10/11 starts at 11:00.

Nov 1st drive to Shreve for lunch meet with BRM?

Is anyone interested in going on a back road drive up to Shreve For a nice Amish lunch? I was thinking we could meet some of the BRM folks from the great white north.

You would just be going out for a nice lunch with your friends. This is NOT a date.

I might be interested in going, if the drive were to make a stop at the J.M. Smucker store, in Orrville. It's just off U.S. Rte. 30 and Shreve is easily accessed from there.

OK Coopy here goes...

We'd leave from Panera Bread 782 N. State St. in Westerville. My guess on a time would be 10:30, there or there abouts.

We have Smuckers right here in town at the grocateria. I thought you would have a better chance of finding us if I told you Westerville.

I like Smucker's, but the idea of driving any farther that the grocery for it just seems LAME to me. I should know LAME, because I am LAME.

It's only, what, 7 miles [at most] up the road from Kidron? Besides, it's not just a jelly and jam place...just think of it as a "Lehman's Hdwe. for food lovers". True, you ARE LAME, and an old fart, to boot.

I wanna come. Whenever we have one. Hopefully Fiona will be pumping gas by then. Anyone want to come over and help me wrench off my old fuel pump? Small hands are welcome, nay required...
