Is it not bad enough that you have perfect weather out there why can't you just relax you don't like M7 stuff we got the point 10 posts ago.

I have been on the Net since 1995 and watched the development of what I call "Forum clubhouses" where the regulars are the club members.

I am very surprised that a Forum that accepts payments from Vendors would allow trashing of the Vendor and its people. It's one thing to have a review section for vendors and their products, but bashing and insulting people who are the foundation of a business, that's bizarre. Implying a Vendor is a con man or that he should be a car salesman? You making those public statements are lucky to have prefaced your remarks with "in my opinion" otherwise there might be legal recourse by those whose reputations you have damaged.

I dunno, maybe it's a freedom of speech thing where NAM members are permitted to engage in personal attacks and their posts stay up.

It's been very educational for me. On my website I was considering having a forum feature, but seeing how people act in all the forums I have belonged to over the years I said no way, it would require a lot of policing and cause injury to reputations.

I also don't understand the Vendor relationships with NAM. Are they paying NAM to be a Vendor on the Site? If so, does the contract say that slamming, attacking and insulting the Vendor is part of the deal. I know if I was advertising on a Site and there were constant attacks against me and my business, including calling me a con man and that I should be a car salesman, I'd be livid and at the minimum pull my advertising dollars from the Site.

Just wondering. I know, I know, I am a newbie on this Forum and it's none of my business.

I imagine any of the vendors who didn't like the abuse, albeit publicity, would pull their funding and do business elsewhere....

Can we pull the plug?

I imagine any of the vendors who didn't like the abuse, albeit publicity, would pull their funding and do business elsewhere....
Are you saying this vendor likes the abuse he's been given?
No one likes abuse. Period!

That being said NAM is a huge market for any vendor of MINI parts & accessories. For them, leaving because a few people show you abuse & disrespect would only serve to hurt them self. It seems there are far more folks who are happy with this particular vendor than there who aren't.

Now how about if we all let this thread die now & pull the plug?

I use 'abuse' very loosely.. and I never implied that any vendor favors abuse.

I think we all forget there are freedoms exercized on the interwebs that would't normally exist in the 'real world'.

i don't imagine anyone's sitting in front of any vendor's place of business with a sign that says: "don't by from ___"

however, it's perfectly normal in internet communities for people to gather and praise or rant about anything and everything, in seemingly anonimity...

if you would take the time to actually read any of my other posts anywhere, you might detect the sarcasm intended...
HINT: it's subtle, but I'd be happy to point it out to you!
