Although I had to leave early, tell Ted I said thanks for opening my eyes to the magical device known as the "clay bar"
(seriously, I have never heard of it until yesterday)

Yep, thanks a lot for the hosting Aaron (and for putting up with us). Great tidbits of info to keep the MINI shining.

Sorry that we missed the detailing school, especially after reviewing Chuck's photos. We just did not get up in time in Grand Rapids to make the event. It looks like you had the usual excellent demo by Ted.

Cheers and greetings!

Paul

p.s. There will be a bunch of MINIs at Mid-Ohio next weekend for a BMW CCA drivers' school. Anyone can just show up at Mid-Ohio to watch the action, you just have to sign the waiver at the gate. Come and watch! See if I can keep all the round black things firmly on the ground!

Chuck's photos FTW. Thanks Chuck for another great set of pics. Any other lens pointers from yesterday?

Thanks to Aaron for setting this up and thanks to Ted for sharing his knowledge again.

My brother called me yesterday during the clinic and I told him I would call him back because I didn't want to miss anything. So I check my email last night and I had one from him saying that he hoped I learned a lot because I now have two MINI's to detail and he attached this picture...

It's actually my niece's new ride. I did have to listen to my brother joke about how he can probably fit hers and mine in the back of his full-size pickup truck.

sorry I missed this, I did put together a kit of my own from suggestions from the NAM crew prior to Hugo's arrival so will be starting off on the right foot! Great pics of event Crash! Hopefully I can attend the September meeting and add to the PW population!
