What I noticed was a couple of drops on the floor after I got back from my parent's house yesterday. I already have some oilstains on the floor from previous cars, so it wasn't until I saw fresh drops that I realized it was leaking.

I'm going to try and get another oil change before my maintenance plan runs out next year.

 

You didn't put him on a payment plan with payment due every third Saturday of the month?

 

well still waiting for my PWB clubman, ordered via MAG, still caged up in Charleston SC VDC... I was told by MA they are behind in installing accessories down there, which is funny because when I ordered the car MAG said the VDC would do a better job at than then the dealership. ( Just frrrrusterated because if I just had the dealership install the lamps and stripes, I 'd be motoring by now..... ) So just waiting....waiting......(((sigh)))

 

Waiting is the hardest part. I bet with the upsurge of MINI sales the VDC is pretty busy. Hang in there it shouldn't be too long now.

I understand they are having labor issues at the VDC. All those guys do is monkey around & get little done.

 

yea I think the one on the right is "thinking" about working on my clubman...back to subject post - I did get the rubber boot mat from MAG, they said they would place it inside the car when I take delivery, I had ordered it originally from MINI Mania, but it was backordered and they said it could take 4-8 weeks to come in. Plus it was cheaper at MAG, and no shipping charges!

 

Tomorrow morning is a MINI Morning Breakfast get together at Tim Horton's on Rt 62 in New Albany 8:30 followed by a detailing demonstration at Outmotoring. Come on over & meet your fellow MINI owners.

 

Just got a call from MA at MAG!!! the clubman is IN!!!!! will pick up this wednesday, but will stop by tonight to obsess and take pics! posting to follow!!

OK not happy at all with MAG, I went inquired about a loan via my credit union at work and was given a rate of 5.25%, when I asked MAG about the delay of the car, they told me via email the finance manager would be able to match that rate to finance through them. Now - hours before I pick up the car, my MA calls and tells me there is no way they can match that, and the rate would be around 8% . Hours before I go in to sign paperwork and do the financing !!!! So now I am running around trying to get the deal done via my credit union at the last minute. I wouldn't be as mad if they had told me a few days ago so all the paperwork could be finalized. Horrible horrible horrible, shame on you MAG.

 

Sorry to hear that you have ran into a snag on delivery date. Hopefully you get everything straightened out and get to ride off in your new MINI (which based on the specs in your sig sounds really nice).

 

I have always been able to beat dealer finance rates. It is a profit for them that is why dealer financing is always pushed by the seller.

Sorry you hit a snag, but it is well worth your trouble to secure your own financing. Too bad you were given some misinformation by your MA. Once you get your MINI & start motoring all of these issues will be forgotten.

Did anyone see Top Gear this week? What a show, it makes me smile & forget my troubles.

 

I placed an order for an '09 BRG Cooper with MAG this afternoon. My MA says I should take delivery in early November. I will try to be patient during this long wait, I am sure it will seem like an eternity.
