Thank You - Silverbacks & Weedhoppers

Replaced my mirror covers for spring...HUGE Thank you to Allen (awesome tip about towel), Crashton (for link to https://www.northamericanmotoring.com...ad.php?t=97142)

& ImagoX's perfect "how to" ----https://www.northamericanmotoring.com...ad.php?t=97142

Classic Mini in Mentor got $30 out of my first pair.

I tilted mirror up as suggested, not a lot of pressure (equally distributed) on mirror and mirror popped off. I have "heated mirrors" and was worried what I could mess up/break. But after carefully removing driverside mirror & watching wiring I had no need to worry. Allen's advice about a towel under car helped out on passenger's side mirror which POPPED off & bounced onto towel inside of a box positioned under it. I'll swap out faded covers next winter with snowtires to keep everything nice on mini for the summer. THANKS GUYZ !!!! YOU ROCK !!!! Can't wait for 4/19 to show off ALso put EURO plate back on ..... kimoz is going to sleep tonight very happy. Scary that it doesn't take much...... now waiting for obnoxious posting/replies....don't let me down

What color/design are the new covers? Or did you just put the same colors on...just a new set?

(sorry, not obnoxious or off-topic...maybe next reply )

Replaced faded & nicked Union Jack covers, terrible what the sun and weather did to them. They are good now for winter replacements.

Hey Kim, do you still want that rear sway bar? If so, I'll try to remember to throw it in the back of CHKMINI when we do the Amish Drive
