Drive on 9/29

I've driven the 56 route from 23 to South Bloomingville a number of times and it's a very nice road. I can't wait to try it in the mini.

As I said b4
If you're thinking about meeting up at Logan - continue south a bit more on 93 and meet up at number 5, just before hitting 56/664.
To go from 12 to 17 I don't remember to be terribly eventful, and markers 5 to 15, and 19 to 28 are probably the curviest.
I got your file, but I think my wife has an older version of Streets and Trips because I can't open it. I created a route on her version for us to use, but I'm not sure how to get it in the format you have in the .pdf version.

LOL - Yes. Checkpoint #5 is just a note to turn off of 93 and onto 56.
HOWEVER - if you continue south on 93 (past 56 about a mile) there is a covered bridge on the Right side of the road (if you are driving south) on CR20. I marked it on the map - I can meet you there 'bout 10:30am per the map?
NOTE - On this newly attached PDF, the bridge is marked on the left....which is b/c I will be heading north (making it on my left). You will be heading south - so it will be on your right, just past 56. Pictures are here: http://www.dalejtravis.com/bridge/ohio/htm/3508210.htm
The PDF file was created w/ a free "print-to-PDF" program called "PDF Creator". http://www.pdfforge.org/products/pdfcreator
The map was created w/ MS Streets/Trips 2007. It also has a "save as .STT option" if that'd help? I'll email that too.
Feel free to call if you have any other questions?

We will meet you at the covered bridge.
I got the map formatted (actually wifey did it in like 5 minutes this morning). We really didn't need one, but it was fun to play with.
Looking forward to Saturday's drive and then Sunday morning's detailing session.

Here is a nutshell of the story: I thought a police bus was an ambulance and didn’t stop.
I have the whole story saved on my computer as a MS word file for future reference. I might copy and paste it on NAM later, but it is almost 3 pages long.

Well Cooper, I hope this all works out for you. I also hope you have a good lawyer.
That's an amazing story. I know you well enough Cooper to know you are telling the truth.
Good luck my friend.

It was a good time. The weather was perfect and it was great to meet new people. The drive was sweet, the only thing that was a little scary was all the bicycle riders on 555. I can't even imagine what the Dragon must be like.
I spent this morning cleaning off the impressive entomological collection that I accumulated yesterday.

Well Barbara & I along with 13 other Miata's had a great drive through SE Ohio. We drove 370 miles with 230 of them top down on twisty roads. There was no traffic & we only saw one trooper who wasn't interested in us.
Here's a link to some pictures.

EDIT*** If there is enough interest I may put on a drive for LAME MINI owners in the spring. I'd use the same route with a few more very nice roads thrown in for good measure.

Great pics as always Chuck. I went to grab my camera before I walked out the door Saturday morning and discovered that wifey had taken it with her to Kentucky.
I know you left at 6:00 on Saturday, what time did you get back?

Chuck you were right next to where I grew up! My parents live six miles up rt7 from the dam. If you organize a drive in that area I would go, there are sooo many great twisty roads around there and very little police interference.

I left at 7:00 & got back at 6:30. That included a stop at Tom's Ice Cream Bowl in Zanesville on the way home.
