Rally Club - anyone ever done it?
I've been saving a flyer placed on my windshield at the River Run for the One Trick Pony Rally sponsored by the Central Ohio Rally Club (CORC). It's on July 28, starting in New Albany.
Does anyone have any experience with this group? With Rallying? I'm intrigued and I thought I'd gauge interest/experience here before I gave the phone number a call. I went to the website and was underwhelmed.
Thanks!

I used to run rallies back in the old days when the earth was still cooling.
Heck even met my bride of 24 years at a rally in Missouri. We ran TSD rallies for years & actually got good at it too. We moved to doing performance rallies & then on to doing Pro Rally....think WRC for slow cars & drivers. Then we started racing & lost track of rallies.
About 5 years ago an old friend & ex-navigator of mine got me to come out of rally retirement. We only ran a couple a year, but it sure was fun. He has since decided that rally is not for him anymore so without a navigator I'm out of rallies again.
CORC is a spin off of the old CRC.....Columbus Rally Club. The type of rally they run is a TSD or Timed Speed Distance. I believe they use all paved roads. If you go you WILL have fun. It's been many years since we rallied, but I have many fond memories of doing them.
