The first one was great they had someone there from the SCCA talking on AutoX, the President of MINI fini and the service department manager plus the techs were there to speak with directly. Plus a display of a JCW kit and updated repair parts like boot latch fix and new expansion tank. This is the dealership where I bought my MCS. :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile:

They are going to have the MINI convertible that was shown at the NY auto show on display for MINI NIGHT # 2.

The DS/DS MCS in bigtime need of a good washing that you will see there is mine. Hope to see everyone there!

 

Sorry to be so late in replying. I was wrong they didn't have a convertible they had the MINI Cooper S MC40.
It was very nice looking with carbon fiber dash and other features see here;

The service manager gave a great talk on mods, they will install them or offer advice if you ask. ( very positive)
They ( MINI of Towson and MINI USA) are putting together a two day driver school in Oct. at Summit Point WV. more info as available.
The president of SCCA Washington DC was there and gave a talk on autoX and MINI's. ( very positive)
They fed us some tasty deli rollup sandwiches and did demonstrations on programming features on the car.
They had a complete JCW kit laid out on a table to inspect, I took a lot of pictures of the head porting, will post those later here and on a thread about JCW porting on mini2.
They had door prize drawings for key chains, MINI T shirts, hats with logo, stuffed animal bull dogs and a $500.00 discount certificate toward a JCW kit for MCS owners.
