I had my new JCW there. Not sure if you remember seeing it. You can always tell mine from others that are similar because I have the CR stripes.

Yeah, me either. Hard to get to many events living out in Washington County. We plan to move back to Carroll County next year so I'll be more active in the club again.

He needs a good wash, that's for sure! Looking forward to a few packages of equipment arriving on Monday to give him a good bath and get the bugs out of his teeth!

 

That's minor stuff. When I do a full detail, it's clay bar, several polishes with the random orbital buffer, and wax. Also engine cleaning, take off the wheels and clean them thoroughly... Takes about 8 hours.

Speaking of bugs... just had a baby Praying Mantis in my JCW cockpit. I think he likes red.

 

That's the stuff I'd (eventually) like to learn. I purchase a ton of cleaning supplies as I teach myself to properly wash a car - never had one worthy of the effort before. You once said that I'd learn to love it, so I'm jumping in head first.

When your CM is ready for its first major detail, probably next Spring, I'll have you down to my place and we'll give it a good detailing and I'll let you use my R/O buffer and you'll see how easy it is. The only tricky part is picking the best polish for the color and condition of your paint. We'll make a day of it !
