Central Maryland MINI's??

Are there any Mid Maryland Mini owners on this site?? I pass very few Mini's where I live, but would love to know if any of you guys are here on NAM. I live in Carroll County and commute to Frederick County.

As a rule I see about 3 to 4 Mini's a week, and usually they are the same ones each week!! HELLO? Are you out there?!?

2010 HzB/Clubgirl, fairly loaded, much loved, checkered accessories and fairly recognizable!!

Bob4 May 2, 2011 07:11 PM

Hello,
I know of 5 in the Manchester area, including Luna a PWB Clubman.

And who should I be looking for ?

GigglesMcMini May 3, 2011 04:29 AM

Giggles is a 2010 Horizon Blue Clubman with black roof, black bonnet stripes, checkered side mirror caps, checkered side scuttles, checkered rear mirror cover, and "actual size" decal on upper right of rear window.

Driver is a 57yr. young woman, who waves at EVERY Mini I see, regardless of whether they wave back. I occcasionally drive into Westminster, or to my dealership, MINI of Baltimore County...

And what do you drive?!?

HEY! Around 11am today I passed a PWB (not sure it was a Clubman), but it had black stripes and large rails on the roof!! I was heading out of New Windsor on Rt.31!!

Who was that distinguished gentleman driving it?? Thanks for the enthusiastic wave:thumbsup:

Rt.26!!!!!

Sightings of MINI's are very rare where I motor, but, today I was cruising along, rockin my Mozart cd, on Rt.26 in Libertytown (Frederick county) and not just 1, but 2!! MINI's pass me around 5:20pm or so, and BOTH drivers waved at me!! Both were men, the first MINI was black, the second was silver(grey?)

Are you members, here? or of the Central Md. Meetup??

HI!!!

minimize07 May 12, 2011 07:13 PM

Most MINIs I see around are in Anne Arundel County,Annapolis.Severna Park,Arnold. There is a large dealer here in the Annapolis area (MINI of Annapolis)which is one of the better dealerships as I see alot of Va.,Del,Md,in there for service and they are really top notch IMO.

MiniTS-05 May 12, 2011 08:03 PM

I once signed up for the the central Md Meetup, but i think i was deleted, busy life so could not make any events.

Another Carroll County MINI owner checking in. In Eldersburg and drive to Laurel for work every day. There are a few MINIs down here. My MINI is Moneypenny which comes from the lucky accident of getting a plate that ends in 007. :)

You and your MINI should join C3M (Central Maryland Mini Motorists). We did a run yesterday that didn't quite turn out the way they usually do. One struck a deer, and another was damaged by a pot hole. This ill fated run was the exception to the rule. We did do some AWESOME twisty backroads before we called it a day!! The members are wonderful, fun loving folks. Check us out at www.meetup.com.

Would love to meet you and Moneypenny!!

GigglesMcMini Sep 26, 2011 05:25 AM

Ooops, never mind, just saw you are already a member!! Cool! Were you at the run yesterday????

sdp126 Sep 26, 2011 12:02 PM

Hi Giggles - we skipped the run yesterday, but were there for the meetup at Pub Dog. We had a blast.

A run is definitely in our future. So sad to hear about the deer and the pothole. Yikes!

The runs are the BEST!!! The looks we get as all the MINI's go by are priceless!!! My navigator who totally didn't get the whole MINI obsession, couldn't stop giggling, and saying "This is just so cool!"

Hi Jam Cooper! Congrats on your Mini. I, too live in the Westminster area and belong to C3M and have done 4 runs so far with them. They are having one tomorrow to benefit Fallen Warriors. Also doing the run next Sunday, which originates in Frederick, Md. Go to www.meetup.com, enter C3M (central Maryland Mini Motorists) they are a great group and organize a lot of fun runs. The run on Sunday ia also in conjunction with the DC Mini group. I, too have seen more and more Minis in our area. For work, I travel rt. 31 to rt. 26 and spot about 4/week. I ALWAYS wave. Let me know if you want to form a Northern Maryland Mini Motorist Club  I would be your first member and possible helper/organizer...

I'm trying to find some information about a 2005 MCS Pepper White that NorthWest-Honda had listed on Auto-trader about a month ago. I'm hoping to find someone that may know some history on the car or that maybe went to the dealer to check it out. Thanks in advance to those that may reply.

Is C3M still pretty active? Looking to potentially purchase an MCS later this summer and looking for some other Mini owners to meet up with.
