Well,
as you can see in the picture below, I have the Mini Driving lights offered by BMW. They were installed by a mechanic, and integrated into the brights. The clear spots are hella 150's, which i can activate with a switch next to my steering wheel. I recently opted to ditch the old mini driving lights, for the amber Hella 150's spots, which I just rewired, and mounted in place of the old mini driving lights. I also have a rear spot light (yes a spot light), mounted on the rear tow hook, which i ran a trailer light wire (coated in thick rubber), up the black siding, into the battery, and is controlled by a switch adjacent to the clear fog switch.

how does this all sound?

Danny,

Are the Hella 150's chrome plated steel or plastic housings? Do they weigh much, and do you have vibration problems on either the MINI light brackets or the bar where the two center lights are installed?

p.s. Rear spot light = pure genius!

Now I have something to do during the long dark winter. It is better to install Hellas than to curse the darkness.

haha, you know you love that lauren.

the hella 150's are a black plastic housing, and i think are $60 or so a pair (search for hella at yahoo). They are extremelly bright, and extremelly LIGHT . The vibration is minimal, esp after the old light bar I had installed. I do know that some sponsers offer a 4 light setup, but I went DIY.

Hope this helps!

Danny
