What is the deal with these? Do Mini owners actually go to these? I was thinking about it, cause I'd like to beat up on some subaru's. haha

Here's the link:

Cheers,

i was contemplating it. My friends (in their M3's and WRX's respectfully), have done this, and said it was a blast. They also said that they say MAYBE 2 or 3 mini's there, so it intrigued me.

what do you think?

SCCA events are a blast. We compete with a group here in South Florida and have a great time. There are about 5 MINIs that compete including my self. Lots of fun and highly recommended.

There are six to seven MINI's at these events, both Stock Coopers and S's as well as modified S's. The Washigton DC Region SCCA events at FedEx fill up quickly so if you're planning to be at the next one (19 October) check the website and sign up and send in your money.

You will have a blast - you actually get to drive your MINI to it's limits. WHen you get there and register, be sure to ask for the novice coordinator -- he's Brian Garfield - who happens to own & drive a MCS and is one of the the top MINI autocrossers in the country.
