Regretfully for sale: my one-owner, adult-driven, never-tracked 2003 MINI Cooper S. 14,500 miles. Unique and tasteful paint scheme:
Indi ('cause "Indy" is copyrighted) Blue
pure silver roof, mirror caps and upper grille
Lapis blue profile leather
anthracite trim
combo 2 sport (DSC, sport seats, fog lamps, R spoiler, xenons, 17" R85 wheels in silver with 4000 mile Goodyears.
combo 3 cold weather: (heated washer jets, mirrors, F seats)
multifunction steering wheel
on-board computer
(In other words, all of combo 1 except the sunroof)
Quicksilver exhaust: +10HP and 20 pounds lighter than stock.
MINI rubber floor mats
Also included if you want: stock exhaust, four 16" R83's with 10k Dunlops for better acceleration and smoother ride, all the MINI paraphenalia I received.
This is my third Cooper S (1964, 2002, 2003). I love the car, but a four-door (a new 330i) is needed to accomodate two growing children.
Located near Charlotte, NC (area code 704) but could deliver as far as New England for cost.
As for price, I'll get the BMW/MINI dealer's number on the car Saturday, and I'll email all interested with pricing. We'll need to complete the deal by Weds, Jan. 4, and one of you or your friends can have a great MINI before the dealer marks it up and disposes of the extras.
Thanks,
Mike

what the dealer said:
It took awhile but the BMW dealer cried his way to $19,500.:impatient With the high content and low miles, Edmunds says $20k+ trade-in, $21.5k private sale, and the dealer was ready to roll it out onto his lot for $24k.
Fortunately, the trade became a non-issue. BMW's current lease rates are so good (4.8% on the 330i, 2.4% on the X5) that it made the most sense to lease the new car, and we did.
So I still have the MCS
, but that makes five '03 to '06 cars in a two driver household (6 counting the '67 Healey) and I'm out of garage space. If it ever warms up again here, I'll wash it and post pics. If you'd like to make an offer, PM me.
Thanks.
